MHS is excited to host Sue VerHoef of the Atlanta History Center. Her presentation is on how to create and organize genealogical files and research, an area in which all of us could use help and guidance. The presentation will be on Tuesday, January 11, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. accessed with the Zoom link above. Anyone interested in genealogy is welcome and encouraged to attend.
About our speaker: Sue VerHoef
Sue VerHoef is Director of Oral History and Genealogy at the Atlanta History Center. She manages the Center’s oral history initiatives including the Veterans History Project. Sue creates and presents regularly scheduled genealogy workshops and programs and provides archives orientation tours for public school and university students and faculty.
In 2015, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Southeast Chapter awarded her an Emmy for her contribution in the development of 37 Weeks: Sherman on the March, which aired on Georgia Public Broadcasting. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University and the University of West Georgia.
